We're a traditional old school local pizzeria. Our pizza is deeply rooted in old world Italian recipes and New York style. In Italy, many toppings you see hear never really existed and we followed that concept keeping the toppings to just the basics. Over the years, we would try to accommodate special requests like a spinach and ricotta pie or salad pie but then customers were asking to add chicken cutlet on their slice or to a veggie pie. You could never get that in Italy and, at the time, no one was really offering in New York either. The request became so great I decided to add it to the menu and it has been our #1 topping ever since. Pepperoni may be America's favorite topping but here it's chicken. Pepperoni is a close 2nd.
NY Pizza Lovers is a local food platform celebrating the pizzerias New Yorkers actually love — the family-run spots, the neighborhood institutions, the slices that feel like home.
